Our Pathologists
“I enjoy Pathology because there is nothing routine about the day to day work. Each day brings the opportunity to see something new and unusual.”
Joanna D. Kosko, M.D.
Dr. Joanna Kosko is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology with a specific interest in breast pathology.
Dr. Kosko earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia. She attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta on a military scholarship from the US Army. She knew going into medical school that she wanted to enter the field ofP athology based on the experiences she had working in a hospital during her undergrad education.
She completed a rotating Internship and Pathology Residency while on active duty in the US Army. After finishing her residency, Dr.K osko went on to serve in several roles including both solo and group practices that involved Medical Directorship roles.
